COURSE DESCRIPTION
The programme of the course provides an integrated approach
to light, as a part of living and work spaces .It enables the students
to explore the relationship of light to interior spaces. Lighting
design has become essential in the practice of architecture
and design; there is a great demand of specialized professionals
capable of design and calculate the lighting of the spaces.
The course will analyzes light in a systematic way from the different
light sources to the all types of new lamps in the market.
Methods of lighting design will include a project developed either
in the use of interior design field-to create emotionally and
scenically spaces- or in the industrial design field- to design a
light device.
Note: It is highly recommended that students be equipped with a
personal laptop for design projects.
